Energy Engineer

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Solar projects while ensuring safety, environmental, and company standards.
- Engage with potential clients and prepare accurate project tenders and proposals.
- Complete energy Audits to SEAI standards
- Evaluate sites for Solar PV development through various mapping tools, site feasibility studies, energy yield analysis, project budget and cash flow analysis.
- Collaborate with energy partners to deliver projects with energy-saving benefits and explore funding options including grants/ incentive schemes.
- Collect and report data on energy-efficient initiatives and procurement.
- Manage tasks from start to finish, evaluate performance, report risks, and keep management informed.
- Maintain strong communication and teamwork, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Build and manage positive professional relationships with external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry developments to improve the procurement process.
- Provide mentorship to junior staff.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role or related engineering field.
- Degree (Level 8) in Engineering, ideally in Electrical Engineering or a related field i.e Energy Engineering.
- Strong project management abilities.
- Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills for positive engagement with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Full, clean driving license.
